Mike and I started the business over thirty two years ago (1981) Since then the company has grown to become the award winning garage that you see today. Our focus is to be " The best independent garage in the area", to offer a service that will bring you, our customer, back to us time and time again. We believe the service we offer cannot be offered by any other local garage.

Even after 30 years you will still see Richard and I working in the garage and also talking to customers about their cars. Because we have a friendly approach many of our customers have been with us since we started and we now look after all the family cars. It's difficult to find a good trustworthy garage, if you use Fields Car Centre you will not be disappointed.

Steve is your first port of call when booking your car in. He has worked for Field's Car Centre for over 10 years. Steve is our Service controller and will communicate with you all the time your car is in the workshop giving you regular updates on it's progress.

Lynne oversees our accounts and administration. She has been working for Fields Car Centre for over 14 years. She also helps manage this website. She is involved with many aspects of customer liason bringing her talent and eye for detail as well as that extra female touch.

Chris, who has been working for the company for over 15 years runs the workshop with his team of seven, mechanics and technicians Chris is oversees diagnostic and technical work with his vast experience and knowledge in problem solving work. Chris will oversee your car while it's in our workshop, keeping any eye on it's progress and making sure completion will be within the correct time scale.

Keith is our longest standing member of staff having worked for the company for over 22 years. Being one of the senior mechanics he is often called upon for his knowledge on subjects like Air Conditioning Systems and teh more awkward mechanical jobs. Keith is now our seniior MOT tester underatking the smooth running of our busy mot bay.

Danny is our 4x4 specialist, having worked for Audi / VW and Landrove for many years, he has a very good understanding of these vehicles. With our new recently installed 4 tonnes ramp, working on 4x4 vehicles is second nature for him. He is also our senior technician with a technial brain to deal with diagnositc and running isssues on todays complex motor cars.

Ben has worked for Fields Car Centre since leaving school and has now completed over10 years with the company. Ben is involved in service work as well as the more advanced mechanicl work. He has developed good techniacl skills and understanding of of vehicle diagnostics.

Sal is our brake & clutch specialist. Producing results that will get your car back on the road quickly. Sal has worked for the company for 6years, but been in the trade for 20 or so years.

Alec has been with us for 3 years and is our Volvo trained mechanic. Alec has deveoped in to a competent, through mechanic

Lee is in his 3rd year of his apprenticeship with us and is working towards his final qualifications.
